How Jet's Pizza Was Born

It started with a single brick oven, a family recipe, and a relentless belief that Brooklyn deserved better pizza. In 2013, founder Marcus "Jet" Coleman opened the first Jet's pizza location on Flatbush Ave with nothing but passion, fresh dough, and a vision to redefine what a neighborhood pizzeria could be.

What began as a small counter-service spot quickly became the heartbeat of the neighborhood. Word spread fast — because when you taste Jet's pizza, you understand. Every pie is hand-stretched, every sauce is made from scratch, and every topping is sourced fresh daily from local suppliers across New York.

2013 — The Beginning

First Location Opens on Flatbush Ave

Marcus "Jet" Coleman opens the original Jet's pizza with a wood-fired brick oven, a family sauce recipe, and a big dream for Brooklyn. Lines form around the block on opening day.

2015 — Recognition

Named "Brooklyn's Best New Pizzeria"

Just two years in, Jet's pizza earns citywide recognition, winning the Brooklyn Food Awards' top honor for new restaurants. The neighborhood takes notice — and the borough follows.

2017 — Expansion

Delivery & Online Ordering Launch

Responding to overwhelming demand, Jet's pizza launches city-wide delivery and a full online ordering platform — bringing Brooklyn's boldest pizza to kitchens and offices across New York.

Jet's Pizza Community Kitchen Program
